Roku Stick

We purchased this product a month ago. At first we were very satisfied until the screen started freezing up on us. Initially when this happened we would turn off tv and unplug Roku, wait a few minutes, then turn tv back on and it would work. Today it froze and we cannot get it to do anything. Our basic cable is fine so we know this isn't the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought it a month ago ,has great features. Streaming is a little slower then the fire stick and the remote eats batteries very very fast,in the past month we have had to change them 4 times

Awesome addition to any TV

I don't watch much broadcast tv, so I didn't want to pay for service. The Roku streaming stick lets me use netflix and amazon whenever I want without high monthly packages of channels I would never watch. RF remote works great if you don't like chromecast having to use your phone as the remote.

My friend had it and I toyed with it and got rid of my cable and that bill! I have no regrets!!! It's awesome!!!!

Buggy, freezes up, remote is awful

Don't waste your money, upgrade to the roku 3, this isn't worth the money. It's slow, freezes up frequently, and worst of all, is the remote. There is an awful lag, and frequently, it doesn't work at all. I don't have any of these problems with our roku 3
