Roku stick disappointing

It keeps locking up and dropping the internet connection. Audio does not play through my my surround sound system ?

Great Device!

Bought device as a replacement for cable service. Great for streaming tv apps like Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, etc. Easy to install and setup, hides neatly behind tv (no wires showing).
Only minor issue is some latency browsing channels/apps and sometimes remote response. Overall, excellent device for price and functionality!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought another for my bedroom. the amount that I save by not having to pay for cable paid for the Roku the first month.

I updated to a smart tv for my living room and bought the stick for an alternate television. I just wish I would have saved my money and bought the stick to begin with.

Been using the Roku streaming stick for a few weeks now. I love the concept but @ times it does lag and won't move. This can become annoying and removing the stick several times is the only way to fix it. This part does not make me happy.

Had trouble when first purchased as it was not picking up Wifi signal. I moved to a different HDMI port and it picked up the signal a little bit better. We had other devices that used Wifi in the same area so it was not the signal strength. After doing some research, it was suggested to try an HDMI extension. We contacted Roku with the web form and they sent us a free extension. We used this and it did the trick. There are now no Wifi signal problems. It looks like if you have this stick too close to the TV there is some interference that causes it not to work. The remote lags a bit sometimes. Overall decent product.
