The streaming stick was simply to install and it gives me access to most of the programs I watched on Directv.

re-molt not working

Roku goes into screen saver mode re-molt does not see Roku Streaming Stick behind TV. I have to walk around TV for me to use.

Has some bugs

I found this much more difficult to set up than advertised (had to get help). Also, it frequently freezes picture in mid-show or movie. Not sorry I got it, but not blown away

Loses connection

I bought this in March and attempted to return today but my return window won't allow. I've used several times and the connection locks up a lot. I didn't return immediately thinking I might be experiencing some interference but now it seems to lock up every time I use it. If it weren't for this issue it would be great!

No Need For Cable!

I love the Roku Streaming Stick. I also own a Roku 1 but really like the convenience of this item due to it's portability. I have smart televisions but they have limited app abilities so it is really convenient to be able to move the stick from on to the other. Debated and researched the product for about a year and I wish I had purchased it sooner. There is absolutely no use for cable in my house, I'd rather the ease of watching a program when I want to watch and Roku gives me that convenience. After seeing mine, several relatives decided to cut the cable cord also and they are delighted by doing so. I just LOVE my Roku products.

If you are a cord cutter than this is a must! Plenty of channels to keep you entertained. Very easy to set up!

Stick works, remote doesn't.

We have a Roku 2 that we use in the living room, so we bought a stick for our bedroom. The setup was easy and everything worked fine to start, but then the remote quit working. I reset it and that fixed the problem for a while, but then it quit again. Now I just use the iPhone app, which has been perfect so far.
