Good but has a bug

I bought two roku sticks and both had the same problem with the remote . when you try to select a title or set up and selecting letters it acted like the button was stuck and would just keep just keep going until you pushed another button which make it hard to set up and select something to watch. I like the roku 3 better I did like the price, the only reason I would recommend though

Slow

The Roku stuck is slow to start any of the programs that are on it. I have to wait for long stretches of time for the browse menus to even load up and even longer for them to load the show... I had to put the stick on a timer in order for it to come on and turn off periodically because it will freeze and stop working all together.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really easy to set up, great results

I got the box home, took the stick out and had it working within a few minutes. It's very easy to add channels such as your own YouTube feed and the streaming is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

not real happy, but ok with it i guess

Thought i was getting something more beter than this, so i got fooled.
These things should be free or they should pay you to own one because what few movies i TRIED ro watch, have to watch the commercials.
On Austin City Limits programs, I'v never heard or seen most of those people in my life except 2 or 3.
I did a search for an old movie, i mean an old old movie, I found it but it sure wasn't free to watch.
I am still new to all this, so i dont know that much yet.
I see that you can either rent a movie or you can own it. From the prices, i don't want to ever own them.
If i did want to own one of these movies, i would want the DVD sent to my home.
I like a good movie if the movie makers would make them to where the background noise were not so loud and keep whispering out. Another
thing is, i hate it when they show peoples faces and half is all dark and half is normal. But if one wants to spend some extra time searching and looking at trailers,.. Did i say trailers? ha ha. I mean film clips, then i think this would be ok to own.

Great alternative to cable and satellite.

Purchased my first 09/2014 and after a couple of hiccups at the beginning, it has been a great deal for me. I purchased one for my daughter when we visited her in February, and they have since bought a second one. I have three. Well worth the price.

Sad that it does not work in hotels
