Still finding new things to watch

I am very pleased with the stick and the easy use. I am still finding new things to watch after one month of use. Cable will be out the door soon.

I bought the Roku stick a few months ago and as of today have gone beyond my expectations. For the price paid is definitively a good buy! I have nothing to regret.

Constantly crashes

I bought this a few months ago and it has not worked very well at all. The remote stopped working so we have to rely on our cell phones. It keeps freezing and we constantly have to restart it because it loses signal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow! This little device gives me cutting edge technology and a great assortment of free content. I stopped using cable tv years ago. I use an antenna and Roku and Netflix...........I think this is the future.

When we first brought it home it didn't work all the time. The remote has to be reset each time and so does the stick.

Like this stick option for my wall mounted television. With an additional power cable I power it right from the back of the TV.

Underpowered Too Slow

I bought a ROKU Stick for my parents who had been admiring the ROKU3 we have at our house. I setup the ROKU Stick on my TV first so I could note the differences (should there be any) in order to properly train my folks on how to use it. Right away I noticed a terrible lag when scrolling through titles and navigating the main menu. I certainly understand this device is NOT a ROKU3 and does not have the same horsepower but it really was not the experience I expected.
I returned the device and bought them a Chromecast instead. The price was similar and they can now navigate using their iPad which they like better.
If you've never experienced the ROKU3 this is a functional device for a great price. If you are buying this for a 2nd TV where you already own a ROKU3 - You're going to have a bad time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
