Love my roku device, have to take the batteries out of the remote sometimes while using Hulu because it doesn't respond

I bought this a month ago and I enjoy it. I am able to watch my cable shows and then some. Just wish the remote had a volume button.

Roku streaming stick is okay. Dont know why or how but it has a hard time loading sometimes. Dont know if it is do to slow wifi or bad connection issues but 78% of the time it has hard time loading.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great invention...remote does not work

After cutting the cord to my cable provider, I purchased OTA antennas and a Roku streaming stick to stream Netflix. The Roku stick works as advertised but the remote is basically nonfunctional. It doesn't just randomly stall, it locks up constantly. Fortunately, I have downloaded the remote app to both my tablet and my phone, but I should be able to use the remote as promised. Secondly, I purchased a TV with a Roku-ready remote that does not work. Very frustrating. Roku knows that this is a problem so why don't they fix it. Also, Roku promotes that you can stream a wide choice of content. This might be true, but only if you pay for most of it and some of it you cannot access unless you have a cable provider. So far, I only use Netflix. Roku serves my purpose

i tried 2 of these units and they would not support my Sony 7.1 audio system and also when ever you used the remote the remote would lock up causing you to have to take the batteries out of them to make them work again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
