I love the Roku stick! I have heard it's slower than the box but who cares. The ease of use, plug and play capabilities, and portability of the stick make it one of the best devices I have used. We have two and move them around to other TV's in the house as needed. Total two thumbs up for the stick!

Just what I wanted

I bought the streaming stick to use with my bedroom TV (since it doesn't have a full cable box). So far, I love it. Very easy to set up and connect to my HBO Go, Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts. Sometimes it does tend to freeze a bit, but I assume that is more related to my wifi than the stick itself.
Would definitely recommend!

I bought the roku stick as my second Roku device. I use it for my main TV and it worked well for several months but recently it has started freezing and not responding to the remote or Android phone app. I have to either unplug it or press the reset button on the device itself. Sometimes I have to do that more than once. I have removed most of the channels except for the ones that I watch but this happens almost daily. I never have this problem with my Roku 2 XD that I have had for a couple years now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this after some review and I'm very happy with it. Glad I can ditch the cable/satellite boxes. My daughter loves watching the programs on the PBS channel. Only downside is the controller seems to eat batteries when it's searching for the signal. Overall it's worth it!
