When purchased I thought it was great until I found out it did not work on older tv's. And of course this was after I already set up for the free trial on Netflix and other offers. So now I have to cancel all those trials. ....Roku should really stress which products work on which tv's....not everyone has or can afford a new TV. ...also Roku should inform customers about HDCP and its affect on the way Roku works. It would save time and aggravation. ....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have a Roku 2 and daughter claimed it,,,so I needed a new one,,,fast streaming and endless choices!!!

I got my Roku streaming sticks about a month ago and love them. Easy to hook up and simple to operate. My elderly mother was able to navigate it with no problems as well. Big plus!

Easy to use!

I bought the Roku stick about a month ago after I was unhappy with the Google stick. We needed to add a Wifi extender to our TV room but have had pretty great service since we did that. Still have issues with buffering but only during peak times. Love the remote!

Great product with one flaw

I travel a lot and hotel cable is generaly bad so I bought the streaming stick. Overall it's very good but has one huge drawback. There is no browser so at hotels that require a web based authentication to get a MAC lease it will not connect.
I would recommend this to a friend!
