Stopped working after a month

Disappointed. Worked well for one month and now it shows a city silhouette but does not respond to any contrôlée buttons.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love what it offers. .... when it's working

My kids and I love what Roku offers and is great when it works. But often, it doesn't. The remote control works about 60% of the time. Otherwise, we have to completely reset it. The remote app on my phone is great, but my 3 kids don't have a smart phone. Additionally, I guess the streaming stick overheats if left plugged in to a power source. Ours had never worked without being plugged in to a power source. It often "overheats" then (ironically) freezes until we unplug it for a few minutes.
We'll keep it for now but will look for something more reliable in the future

I really like how easy the Roku is to use after I register a program/app (Netflix, HBOgo, etc..). I HATE having to register ever single program/app on the each stick I own (I own two).
