I've bought this 2 months ago. The stick part didn't work right from the beginning the cord on the stick part is real louse and would not keep a connection. I taped it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have 2 Roku sticks and 1 Amazon fire stick. The roku blows the firestick away! Easier to use, easier to navigate, better interface, and way more channel options. We love it!

Loving My Roku

I got my first Roku as a gift ( I picked it ) about 2 years ago. I know have one in every room in my house. My mother is now hooked and has two.
I love it and would recomend them to anyone.

I had satellite TV for a few years and the price kept going up and up especially if I wanted extra features. I purchased my roku about 6 weeks ago and haven't missed the satellite. I still watch my favorite programs and even found some sub-channels that provide excellent programming.

We are enjoying the Roku stick. Have been binge watching a couple of shows! Sometimes the Roku has frozen up in the middle of a program and once we had to set everything up all over gain. Another time, just reset the stick. All in all, we have enjoyed movies & news. Because we do not have cable or satellite, this has been a wonderful investment. Thank you!
