This is a great addition to my home theater.

I had a little problem with the remote not staying connected but a quick call to customer service fixed that.otherwise it does everything they it does I'm very happy with this Roku!

Roku not such a good deal

I bought this about 2 weeks ago, not entirely happy with it.. Some of the shows I want to see, it will let you watch 1 show, after that you have to log in with your cable or satellite providers login. I bought this so that I didn't have to have cable or satelite
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Roku stick works great. My problem seems to be with the remote. I thought the device had been freezing, until I used the Roku app on my iPhone. The stick wasn't freezing, the remote didn't work very well. I've changed the batteries multiple times. Nothing. But when I use my iPhone, no problems. So if it wasn't for the remote, definitely 5 stars. Who wants yet another remote anyway?

I recently dropped my TV provider and went OTA. I didn't want to but cable bill was ridiculous. I knew there was going to be comprises and wanted to minimize them. After some research and looking at Roku's competition I decided the Roku streaming stick was probably my best choice. I am new to Internet TV and I'm still looking at all it has to offer. Roku is making it easy and the picture quality is good.
