I bought my first stick two years ago and it's still working well after extensive use every day. I had just set up basic internet service in my home for the 1st time so I could lose the large cable bill. Setting up the Roku took time but wasn't difficult even for a new home wireless user. It opened an entire world is entertainment for me that I wouldn't have known without the Roku. I just helped my brother set his up and he loves it. Of all the streaming devices available, Roku is the best (regardless of which device). The product is a game changer - get one and you'll never look back.
I bought about 5 months ago. I am enjoying all the additional channels that I am able to see. I wish now, I had bought the streamer for the whole house
First time using anything like this and it appears to be a little slow to access the features and there is plenty of choices. Over all I think it was a good investment. Have not had much time to fully use it.
Not too pricy. Plug in to the HDMI port on the TV, set the wireless password on the TV using the Roku remote, and register the Roku code on the web site. Although the web site registration didn't work the first time. They always want to bounce you to the 'buy a device page' when chances are, you have the device and you just want to set it up.
