I bought the Roku 3 for Christmas and loved it, bought the roku stick this spring, it is not as user friendly a the Roku 3 and freezes up occasionally but over all it does what I want it to do.
The only thing in buying the streaming stick, is that what ever store you buy it at they don't tell you that you have to have a private wireless signal. If you stay in a rv park, hotel, or anywhere they offer free wifi it will not work. Other then that the streaming stick is a great buy. I use it for Netflix. Easy to install. Hope this helps anyone that works on the road.
I got a free movie through Disney Movie Rewards and would not work on YouTube with my Wii. So I researched this and Google Chromecast. This seemed liked the best choice. I wish it come with an internet browser. My sisters family only have internet; so they watch all shows online. If I would do that, it would buy a cheap laptop and an HDMI cable. I told my sister to buy Chromecast so they don't have to use and extra laptop. Plus they have a toddler.
