Own other rokus, love them all best on the market. But the size of the stick makes it so easy to pack when Itravel. Have purchased more for my grandkids.

I bought Roku a month ago and my family couldn't be happier. I finally got rid of cable and their high monthly bill. This is my best and most favorite purchase.

This is my first time to buy Roku streaming device. I'm always an Apple TV user. My first impression of Roku was good but a little disappointed on how slow, I mean real slow when starting up. It's just not acceptable to me in opinion. The three reasons why I bought it because (1). I have Amazon prime account so I can watch Amazon instant video (2). Apple TV don't have Amazon instant video. (3). So I can connect to my minivan VES to let my kids watch cartoons and other favorites programs thru Netflix and Amazon video when on a long distance road trip. Good product but I only gave 3 stars because of slow start up and lag response from the remote.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its neat that all you need to do is just plug it in and go but if your hdmi outlets on your tv are close together like on mine it blocks the next hdmi outlet and theres no off button that i can see. Hopefully it goes to sleep on its own in a reasonable amount of time. I gave mine away so i could use both hdmi outlets- One for Ps3 on which i can stream anyway.

I now own 3. I replaced a streaming Blu ray player with one. I really like having an Android app to control the stick. It's a little slow to boot up but that seems normal for this type device.
