The streaming on the stick is great. The remote can be a but touchy at time. You may want to try using the app. I have already changed the batteries on the remote and it is less than a month old. It seemed to help for about a week, but then got touchy again. If using the remote be prepared to change the batteries often.
I ran out of HDMI ports (need to get a switcher) and I use this through my Xbox One HDMI out port. The only reason I started using this device as much as I do is because the Xbox1 slingtv app is horrible (it constantly buffers). Roku's works to perfection. So, thank you Roku. The NBA playoffs would have been dark days without you.
This is my third Roku purchase. I bought the stock because my Roku 3 kept freezing and I was constantly unplugging the power and HDMI cable to get it to work. The stick is working ok, but the remote is terrible. I keep having to take out and reinsert the batteries just-so, keeping the cover off, for it to work.
I got my Roku as a birthday gift last month. I really enjoy finishing cancelled TV series I loved from the past, but missed the endings of when originally broadcast. It's great to start new series and get caught up on some that started in recent years and are still ongoing, too. My experiences with movies old and new have also been fun.
