The Roku is a good source of television, as our family has decided to cut back on our luxuries to save money, so we have done away with our satellite provider, and decided to get the Roku . It has a variety of apps for shows and movies, although you do have to have a subscription to a satellite or cable company for some apps to work, wish that could be different, but other than that the Roku is great!! We have three in our home, and are enjoying them!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I own 4 Rokus.
After the first one I was hooked and have convinced several other people to purchase one as well.
The last purchase was a streaming stick and to be honest I am slightly disappointed. It is slow. It takes too long to connect to the network and it seems and the communication between the remote and stick is temperamental. I am not turned off by the Roku products I will just buy better models then the streaming stick.

Great but there is some flaws

I have tons of Roku's I deiced to buy the streaming stick cause its easier to hide the cables, everything was great until the remote went out.I reset every which way roku said and now I need a new remote, I bought two at the same time so most likely this is just a defect, but other then 1 roku which is older not appearing on my phone app to remote control its a pretty sweet machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A special treat was the Acorn TV channel. I love British mysteries and Roku has given me access to all of them.

Very unhappy with product

I bought this a month ago and it is horrible. The new batteries in the remote are dead about every couple days. It takes a long time to sync. It is constantly stopping every few minutes. I am so unsatisfied with this product and would not recommend to anyone.
