I bought this about a month ago. We are trying to economize, so are considering doing away with the current pay TV service. Roku gives us an option. Netflix is the one source we have actively used a lot. That is a great benefit. The only drawback I see right now is we don't have access to local news via TV. We do have access to national news. We bought a second stick recently so we can add another TV.
The remote with this version does not have a power switch, so may need to use 2 remotes or manually turn the TV on or off.
I own a Roku 3 and wanted to enjoy some of the contents available on another HDTV but did not want a box on my kitchen counter. This did the trick. I would have rated it a 5 but I do have a few issues when trying to stay connected to my TWC App. The delay from the remote is a bit annoying at times but overall it is a great item.
I already owned 2 Roku 3's but wanted something convenient that would travel easy. The Roku stick is almost there. If your hotel has wifi that you must first agree to terms on, it is a small process to get your stick logged in. See Google or your search engine of choice. 480p is best for hotel wifi. But overall it functions very well.
I bought this a month ago and I'm very happy with it. I really love the Plex feature which allows me to stream my own TV and Movies right from my computer without the need for cables.. My only complaint would be the remote. it seems to need to be constantly reset or re-paired, which can be a hassle
