Disappointed

We have the 2 of the standard wired Roku boxes. We purchased the Roku stick & seem to have nothing but problems. I am not sure if the remote is bad or what but we are consonantly removing or putting new ones in. Or unplugging the whole unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Roku seems to work better during the day but in the evening we have constant buffering.

Better than Chromecast.

I bought a Chromecast first but regret buying it now. The Roku is much better. First of all, having a remote that allows you to view several apps and services at once on your television is better. With a Chromecast you use your smart phone as a remote one app at a time. Also Amazon Prime Video does not work with Chromecast. If you are an Amazon Prime Member you must go through a bunch of tricks to get it to work with a Chromecast. The Roku cost more than the Chromecast but then, You always get what you pay for.

Powerful Stick

Have only used my streaming stick a few times and am still getting to know it, but it works perfect. Picks up my Wi-Fi right away.

A little slow when weather is bad

I bought roku about a month ago, we love it. I dropped my dish and am enjoying the entertainment from roku for less than half the price!
