The stick works but the remote doesn't

I like the Roku streaming stick. The programs/channels work great, however, I needed to download the Roku Remote app to my iPhone in order to make it work. The remote control that was delivered did not work. Even with new batteries the remote only registered every tenth time I pushed one of its buttons.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had a Roku Player on our main TV and loved it. Now we added the Roku stick to our other sets and love it. The stick is just as fast and it is so small you would not even know it was there. Now we can stream video on all our sets.

It was great until when I replaced new batteries in the remote and now it won't connect. So now I can't use roku cos of the remote.

I wanted to stream movies during my recuperation from surgery but I use an "rabbit ears" for my TV. Roku solve that problem and I am looking forward to days of recuperation and rest while watching movies.

I recently acquired one and am very happy with the way it works. It froze up once though and I had to unplug it to get Netflix to work again.
The picture clarity is Phenomenal!
