Slower, but more portable than the Roku 3

I have a Roku 3 and the Roku streaming stick. I use the Roku 3 on my main living room TV, and it works like a champ. I decided I needed a device for my bedroom TV, and because I spend the night at my girlfriend's house and at hotels, I figured the streaming stick would be the easiest to throw in my purse. It's very easy to use, but if I compare it to the Roku 3, I have a few problems.
1. It's slower to connect. Not MAJORLY slower, but noticeably slower.
2. For some reason, it keeps reloading when I use the HBO Go app. This can be annoying. It happens at least 3 times in a one hour Game of Thrones episode.
3. The remote control is hypersensitive. When I enter the wifi password at a new location, it's hard to get it to land on the right letter/number without going past it. Or on the screens where I'm choosing shows, I click two squares to the right, then select, and suddenly I'm watching the show that was 3 squares to the right, because it hopped at the last second.

Fix these things, and it will be 5 stars. But overall, it's a handy little gadget, especially for travel.

Bought it a couple months ago, very convenient and space saving. connects with my Router very briskly, and streams excellent quality video.

The remote eats batteries

The stick is fine and I use the app on my iPhone. The Roku remote eats batteries. They do not last from one day to the next!

Screen sharing is with Miracast

I can't stream with Windows 8.1, I only have iOS devices. Great to have Amazon and Netflix on same stick though. The Netflix app is really decent, a little more so than one on AppleTV.

I bought a roku stick. it was as easy ti install as to use. I am not a computer person-but a non electronics person but works great and love it. have talked 4 friends into trying it. they 2 love it . best thing I ever bought.
