We got this Roku stick a month ago and we love watching all the streaming videos/movies from our internet connection. It updated all the channels I have on my account automatically. We do not have to pay for cable anymore. It provides everything we want to watch at great streaming speeds. We love it.

decent streaming stick

The Roku stick works just fine. Plugged into tv usb power makes it take some time to boot every time you turn on the tv, but it's not as bad as some reviews led me to believe.
Beta screen cast from my LG G3 didn't work well when I tried it, but regular Roku channels work fine.
Sometimes the remote seems to become unpaired from the stick, and I have to take the batteries out of the remote to get it to reset.

This has been a great purchase! I will probably buy another one for my other TVs. I canceled my cable service and this has been a cheaper alternative for sure. The only thing with the streaming stick is that the remote loses connectivity often. I downloaded the app and that seems to work much much better.

Simple and a great value

Decided to ditch all forms of traditional TV in favor of something along the lines of either Roku or GoogleChrome, and this is much easier to use with fewer limitations as to how it can work and what it can be hooked up to. Easy to set up, easy to use, with my only complaint being that picture quality tends to degrade over time...but the fix is fairly simple, basically restart the "stick" and the resolution cleans up.
I would recommend this to a friend!
