Good for what it is

I got two of these for my mom's household so they could use my Netflix, Hulu, HBO and other accounts to watch shows and movies because they were getting rid of cable. And I have a TCL RokuTV so I knew it would be easy for them to understand and use. While it doesn't have everything they want, what does? It seems a little slow/laggy compred to navigating the interface on my RokuTV, but it's not a big hinderance. Overall, it's a good device for what it does and what you want it to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor working remote

Since receiving the stick, I have had nothing but problems with the remote. At best it works intermittently. I have had it for only about six weeks and I have had to change the batteries three times. The remote works for a few minutes and then freezes up. I have to remove and reinsert the batteries to get it to work again. Not too happy with the situation.

I purchased my Roku stick over a month ago and I have found that it the stick isn't in the perfect position in the USB port it doesn't work. I hand to wiggle the stick to get a picture

I bought this item thinking it would give me a better experience with my purchase of Netflix but it has been an extremely stressful trying to use the Roku stick. It keeps freezing up and not allowing me to sign in or watch the movies I want. I have deeply regretted buying this Roku stick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This functions well however you still need to make subscriptions to now TV Netflix etc to be able to watch anything
