I love the Roku when it works. I have a problem with it saying I don't have internet connection when the settings tell me it is excellent.

lots of issues

I purchased the roku stick about a month ago so my kids could watch Netflix and vudu. 1st issue was there is no off on the remote or on the device so it's constantly using power. 2nd issue is the remote it's self does not work for more then 10 minutes. I been thru 7 packs of batteries in 4 days. All the batteries are drained in less then 120 minutes. 3rd issue is every time I go to change the movie I have to take the batteries out and put them back in.
I don't know if this is a manufacturer issue (s) or what but I would not recommend them at all. A smart wireless Blue Ray player would have been the better choice then this.

Remote is not consistent

Everything about Roku is great. I have two. This is the firs stick. I like it because of the compact size & how easy to install. What I was having problems with is the remote not making the stick respond in a clear line of sight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am enjoying now but configuring the remote was a hassle. If my daughter and son-in-law were not here I would have given up and would have needed to call you people up. Do not assume all of us are super electronically adept. I am a senior citizen but savvy! They had to google several times. But love the stick have two Rokus now!

Works inconsistently

I am fairly happy with it. When it works it's great, but often find I have to reboot my Roku stick and re-enter the passwords etc.Plug in and plug out.
