I received this as a reward at work and the remote goes stupid and I have to take the batteries out to reset it. This happens anytime that it sits idle for an hour or more. I have other Roku's in my house and they work great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what we needed

This product works as advertised. We are able to watch shows from our Netflix accounts and Amazon Prime. I am sure there are lots of other options, but we are happy with just using those two apps. It was worth the cost to us. Set up was super easy, and one can even control the Roku from a phone app (although, the remote is simple and very easy to use.) My family is very happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was intimidating at first .. but I am slowly learning how to use it. Wish there were more free channels. It can become costly.

Works amazingly and do not have to deal with mounting a box. It may take a few extra seconds to load vs the 3 or 4 box, but more than tolerable. Will probably buy a couple more.

I've had this stick for about a month and so far it's ok. The only problem is if you're binge watching you have to restart the stick every couple of hours to rid the purple screen that pops up.
