Faulty from the start

The Roku stick would not be read by the tv unless it is messed with to be in a certain position and now less than a month after purchase the remote is going crazy. When the arrows are pressed I guess they get stuck because it will go forward, backward and up and down way to far and I can't stop it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a Roku 3 in my living room, but recently bought a "Smart TV" for my bedroom. I purchased the stick for the new because the remote is easier to use and I already have tons of free stations set up. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Not what I expected

I have issues with remote always freezing up n batteries always ding fast then it's always buffing or freezing up no matter how fast my internet service is. I don't like that I have to have a different code for each TV for the same app instead of it syncing automatically.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this device

I have three Roku devices, and my children love it for the kids programming available, and we love it for the TV's that don't have a cable tv hookup. We also take ours camping, which is great.

Works great but having remote connectivity issues

I love the new style thin remote
Quickly connected to my home network
Streams all my favorites from movies to music
My only issue is the remote failing to stay in sync with Roku
I have to restart the Roku to fix this issue

Easy Peasy

We "cut the cable cord" a month ago, and this little stick has been awesome to provide us the ability to still stay plugged into the shows that we enjoy watching!

Easy to use

I purchased the wireless Roku stick (2 of them) and one of the wired Roku 3's. The two wireless Roku's loose connection a lot - I have to reset them or at the very least remove the remote batteries and re-insert them to get the device to respond again. The wired Roku has worked great - the option to plug headphones into the remote is wonderful, but it only worked a few times. Now when I plug the headphones in it will work for a few minutes and then I will lose all sound. Other than that, I really like the devices and not having to rely on a cable company is invaluable.

Super easy and painless

My wife and I recently installed a small TV so she can stay awake while nursing our baby boy in the middle of the night, so I thought the Roku would be a perfect addition to the room (we have a Roku3 in our family room). It has surpassed our every expectation, especially how smooth the wireless is that never has to buffer. I could not be more pleased with this Roku Stick!!!
