I bought this a while ago. It worked fine for about a few months, but then just stopped working. Keeps reloading and reloading. I just stopped using it...thinking about buying from the competition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Roku, TV just got a lot better. Great entertainment and enjoy it so much better when you loose satellite signal.

However, I had problems with the remote control for my first streaming stick. I made several attempts resetting it as instructed by customer service. I changed batteries multiple times and it would not work. So I exchanged it for another one. So far, so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Roku is extremely was to use and having the streaming stick means I don't have to look at it. I've had no trouble with the connection between the Roku and the wifi.

Works as it should with minor annoyances

Easy to watch all your favorite shows if you're subscribed to the right channels. Switching from an old roku-box to this, I do have a few annoyances. remote is touchy and either under or over-reacts to a click. The iphone remote app works better, but still not flawlessly. Also, the farther the stick is from the router, the more buffering issues I experience. And we're not talking very far, just 2 rooms over. Works best if it is literally right beside the router. For a product that is supposed to be easily moved from TV to TV, this is annoying. Regardless, since we've been using it on the TV next to the router, we haven't had many issues - but we did need to upgrade our modem/router with our internet provider to get better quality and speed. Fortunately, our provider upgraded us for free, making our roku experience better.
