One is fantastic, in my living room. The other one in my bedroom is not the best. It freezes up often and I have to reset everything. Set up for each app can be a little much but once it is all done it is great, and no cost of cable.
ROKU is really one of the best inventions ever, especially if you are a cable-hater like myself. It will continue to get better. Good customer service, too.
This is my second Roku. My old Roku 2 is five years old. I mounted the TV on the wall and the stick simplified things nicely.
Except it failed to pay attention to its remote more often than not. I chatted with Roku support three or four times and received a couple of emails from them -- great support, Roku! -- and they finally sent a new remote, no charge. The new remote is a significant change from the original (different batteries, different layout, more heft), and was the solution to my problem. A shout-out to Roku support for a job well done!
This is a great device. its easy to setup and use. The only complaint is I can't play iTunes content on it, but for the price difference from the Apple TV it's worth not having that function.
Have had the streaming stick for a month or so. Every aspect of it is nice except for the screen mirroring. 75 percent off the time no audio comes through the tv wick is I big bummer because if I knew it wouldn't work well I would have got Chromecast instead
This is the best investment! The only thing is the remote stops working like it turns off or stops communicating with the Roku stick. I just use my smartphone as my remote because it always works.
