I've had this for a couple months and so far so good. I've had no problems with connectivity or streaming quality. I mainly use it for Netflix and its great. The only thing that kind of annoys me is the YouTube app. I don't think its the remote because I don't have issues using it on the other apps. But when using the YouTube app, the remote is REALLY delayed when trying to make any selection. Its kind of annoying. But overall... its great!
I bought my Roku stick a month ago and I'm so happy I did! It was so easy to install and set up and now everything is right at my fingertips. The channels are great its in one place and it's a blast finding all my new favorite channels and shows!
I bought this about a month ago and I'm so happy I did. There is a great unending selection of free movies both newer and older. I was elated to find the 70's movie, Trilogy Of Terror, which scared me very much when I first saw it on television as a child.
The HDMI streaming stick initially would not sync with the ROKU remote. Upon checking the supplied batteries I found them to be DOA! I replaced the batteries and then did the sync again. This time the stick and remote synced and was able to program the unit. Everything works great. The dead batteries on a new unit was a bummer but all is well now. I could not tell from a new unit if I didn't know.
The only thing I don't like is the remote. I have to reinsert batteries to get it to work. It gets stuck and I can only use by accessing my phone app or reinserting the batteries. Other than that I am really enjoying it. It has taken the place of network TV. I suggested it to my mom because she wanted to watch Netflix but hated to have to watch it on her computer. She is really enjoying her stick as well.
