Bought our first one and loved it so much we bought another for our second tv. Easy to use and so many options of streaming sources have not used them all yet.

Love the hidden aspect

Without the Roku Streaming Stick we wouldn't be able to mount our flat screen on the wall without cords and attachments being seen. This has been a great feature of being able to hide the Roku 'box' out of sight. But being behind the TV makes it hard to get remote signal. I catch myself having to raise the remote up above my head to get signal.

I bought this a couple of months ago and am extremely happy. I use a portable wireless router to set it up in various hotel rooms and have watched numerous hours on it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote is not great

Every time we use our stick we have to take out the batteries in the remote to get it to work. I have done everything possible except throw it against the wall. It stops working in between selections! Other than that, I guess we're alright. Cheaper than Satellite so that's a plus. CNN is a let down. I THOUGHT we'd get real news all the time, but nope. It's recorded shows and stuff along with some news. The stations like TNT and others only carry shows they WANT us to watch - we can't select them. Whatever they are showing at that time - that's what we're stuck with. But again, it's cheaper than DISH so there's that. I also had to move the router all the way to the TV in order to GET THIS TO WORK in the first place. THAT is a joke. I now have cable running all along my hallway into the living room. If the router was any closer it would be IN THE TV! There's quite a few kinks that have to be worked out and we're not pleased with the limited selection of shows either. Can you tell I'm let down by this product? YUP! The only GOOD thing is we get CBS on Demand! That is a lifesaver!!!!! Come to think of it, it's the only reason we KEPT THIS ROKU THING!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought Roku 1 Month back. Its a good device. But its remote is not that good.
Its lost pairing with the stick often. So using android app as a remote.
