Pleasantly surprised!

I bought this for our supplementary television, and didn't use it much immediately. My Roku XD, however, seems to be having a buffering issue, so I reinstalled the Roku Stick in our main television room. I figured it would be slower and maybe lacking some features. I was wrong. It's got everything my XD does, and is about as fast. I can't speak for how it compares to the newer Roku boxes since I don't own one, but it's handling Netflix, Hulu, and Plex just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have both a the Roku 3 and the Roku Stick. The Roku 3 is hands down a better device. However, the stick is cheaper and works well for spaces where you can't place a full size Roku device. It is a bit slow and not as clear as the Roku 3. Overall though, it works well. One thing though, I wish it had the earphone jack on the remote, like the roku 3 does. I use my stick in the bedroom and it would be nice to have the headphones so I could watch the tv and not disturb my husband when he's asleep.

I was I bit worried when I first bought my Roku Stick, I have a Blu-ray player that has Netflix and I just wasn't sure if I would use it - now that I have it I absolutely love it , there is sometimes that it kicks me out at random that's why I didn't give it 5 stars but overalI love it. its small that you don't have to see it there - can plug it into my USB port on the back of my tv and plug the charger into the other USB port and no wires show - definitely recommend it!

The stick is fine. The remote runs away. Press once and it skips 10 movies or apps. I also have a Roku 3 that is wonderful.

Since April I have returned this 3 times and need to take it back again, I now realize the remote drains the batteries within hours how is this possible. So now I just take the batteries out until I use it which is ridiculous.

Slow to access channels. Remote would work for 30 seconds and quit then 15 seconds later work again.
