Great variety

We got our first ROKU stick about a year ago. Very easy setup. There's such a variety of programming available. We just got another ROKU for a second TV and will be cutting the ties with DISH. We are tired of paying for stuff we don't watch. Now we watch what we want when we want it.

I bought this little one last year and I love it I am also have 3 more roku 2 the old models we cut the wires about a year ago and after almost 1200.00 saved im glad we did.

Great features

The use of the Roku device allows me to watch what I want when I want. Has lots of apps to coose from. I dont have extra cords so can pkay my game system or dvd player and the Roku is still connected.Netflix, hulu plus, work well on it.

What you may expect from a streaming stick.

This is a great entry level device for streaming. It is not as powerful or responsive as its bigger brothers but it does the trick. I have had it for a month+ now and have had no problems with it.

I bought this a month ago. Works well and have no complaints with the stick. However the remote constantly looses connection requiring me to take the batteries out and putting them right back in. Seems to be the only way to get the remote to connect again. Replacing the batteries entirely was not the answer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

intermittent remote operation

When I select the ROKU channel, the remote often does not work or the screen appears frozen. Rather than wait for divine intervention or the remote to actually perform one of the commands I have given it, I have to get up, unplug, and replug the ROKU stick and start all over again. Not sure why it only happens sometimes.
