Poor quality

this device is slow to start, poor connection, despite the fact that modem is less than 1 foot away from it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Streaming stick

I bought this a few months ago for my bedroom TV. You can get rid of cable with all the features and apps Roku has. I also have the Roku 2 downstairs for my main TV which has worked flawlessly for the past 2years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use

I bought this to have access to the free streaming content. Roku has access to a lot of sites. I have removed those that require payment. I also love the Roku remote on my iPhone and iPad with its keyboard it makes using the Roku much easier. I do wish it could access content on my computer. I bought a AppleTV for that. It also accesses streaming. The Roku can access Amazon Prime free videos and music which I use a lot. Only fault is on setting up the Roku it requires a credit card. I gave one but went back in on line after logging in and removed the card. I do not want to buy anything this way.

Too Slugish to work and use

I bought this few months ago and since than had to do a full reset as remote stopped working and also finding it sluggish to use compared to other rOKU3 which I use at home. It seems there are some latency by the time I click button and stick responds with action.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a few months ago and had problems with connecting and keeping the internet connection. I work online with a tech and figured out the problem. Two days later I was having the same problem and it would disconnect. If I restart the roku it works. I don't know if it will work or not each time I go to use it.

I'm very happy with my Roku stick. It was great value for money. The only negative is that I'm used to the Roku 3, and the ability to watch from a flash drive.
