It's ok...

I bought the stick thinking it was cool to have to hook to my big screen tv. First had setup issues, the video setting had to be reset, when music is played it sticks on Pandora, and when you play a movie on one of the apps, the screen shows distortion when in play (every few minutes) then comes back in clear then scrambles the view. I am over it, back to my Apple TV!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I read review before I bought this and bought it because of them-very easy set-up and easy to use. Would have given 5 stars if the remote worked. All the reviews said the remote was worthless and it is but they said just use the free ROKU app on my iPhone and iPad and they work just fine.

Easy to use. You will need to be by an outlet, though. I thought I would get more movies, but it's nice to have without a cable or satelite subscription.

Enjoy all of the ROKU products I have purchased over the last five years. The streaming stick was the fifth ROKU I have purchased. I buy them as gifts for others. They work well and the content is endless. Only wish the STREAMING STICK was cordless other than that it is great. bought it for my 91 year old grandmother and she enjoys it especially the channels that allow her to listen to radio shows from her youth.

I have had the streaming stick for about a month. I LOVE IT. I use it every day and it allows me to watch all of my favorite shows without having to switch devices. Fantastic!

I love Roku. We have a Roku 3 and now a Roku Streaming Stick that we got free with our subscription to SlingTV through Dish network. Ditched cable, yay! The Roku Stick is definitely not as powerful as the 3 but still great!!
