I got this device with my sling Tv subscription. and from the day I got it, I m highly disappointed. I would suggest not to buy either Roku device and also don't subscribe to Sling TV subscription.

Great product

We now own 3 Roku2 streaming sticks! At first I was skeptical about if it would be worth the initial investment... But I am glad we discovered it. There is ALWAYS something to watch, and with a little bit of tweaking, it is very personalized. I only subscribe to Netflix, but there are so many free choices it is bound to keep ANYONE entertained for hours. I would also like to mention it takes the place of a SMART TV .... With many more features! Lastly, the picture quality produced by the Roku is far superior to what the cable TV from xfinity provides!!! You cannot go wrong with a Roku! I have nothing to gain by promoting this awesome product. My only advice is to stay clear of other streaming sticks, that only provide a fraction of the channels, and are slower than molasses on a cold winter day!

Great Streaming!

I bought this a month ago and thought it would be like my other Roku 1 and I've have found that it isn't; it wakes us up in the middle of the night shining a bright light and then the light starts blinking and I have to unplug to get it stopped. I called customer and they tell me I have to keep unplugging the streaming stick so it doesn't do this. It's not the ordinary light that is on any other time it is magnified like a bright night light.,
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

good value for the cost

My absolute and only concern with this product isn't really about the product. It works fine and well and is easy to install, figure out and use. What I wasn't expecting was to run out of DMHI ports. one for the roku, one for the bluray, and short of one for the pvr. Will have to invest in a splitter I guess.

I purchased the Roku device about a month ago and I have been in love with it ever since. It gives me access to all my favorite cable channels for way less than all the other cable providers. I am extremely happy with my Roku.

No cable at the cottage, ROKU is great!!

We have a cottage in the UP of Michigan. We have an antenna on our roof that draws in 4 digital stations. ROKU allows us many additional selections for our TV viewing pleasure!! We catch up on a lot that Netflix has to offer...great alternative to paying out the ying-yang for cable!!
