When I saw the difference between the stick and my previous Roku, it totally blew my mind. The resolution was life-like and I was impressed by the synopsis at the top of my choice. Instead of clicking on "play" to get the info, I now just have to look above the selection to see if I want to play it or not. Wonderful job, Roku.
I have 2 Rokus and recently purchased another as a gift, I love mine and they do too! We both have the stick and it's awesome because you can take it anywhere and I have become very spoiled because there are no commercials! And entertainment today is immoral and extremely violent, so it affords us suitable choices. Love it!!

I both this and kept or for only two days then returned. It is difficult to understand what is on for viewing at any particular time. Also, if you want a few movie channel choices or sports channels, they are not pay by the drink, most are subscription. By the time you subscribe to enough to receive enjoyment you are spending more in monthly fees than cable or satellite monthly fees. Also, I was very excited to get a client app for PLEX. The ROKU client app is terrible. This fact alone was enough for me to return the product. The client app for the PS3/4 is fantastic.

Running these on high speed internet on two different systems, one in Minneapolis and one up north. We have the same problem with all three units; the remote freezes or locks up and we can only get it going again by taking out the batteries and replacing them, which is kind of a hassle. I've tried the little reset button and it doesn't work, the device still locked up and won't work. If the remote worked consistently I would be inclined to give Roku a 5 star rating.
I'm using this as a temporary device on the basement TV. I was looking to get something like HULU which use to be free, but only HULU+ there, which requires payment. I've put code on to assure I don't accidently get something that costs. That could be all too easy to do.
