Way Cool!!

I purchased my first Roku because I wanted to watch my favorite shows on Acorn TV. The second one so I could have the same benefits in my sewing room. Loved it so much I gave one to my daughter for her birthday. Her husband has since purchased another for their home and one to take on road trips. Easy to use, lots of selections. What's not to love.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Streaming Stick works great, remote is garbage

I love the streaming stick. It works perfectly on our master bedroom TV. Our router is downstairs almost directly below where the TV is, and we have no problem with connectivity to the Wifi. However, the cheapo remote that came with the streaming stick rarely works properly. I have to use the mobile app on my phone to control the Roku about 75% of the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thought it would be good alternative to set top

This was my second Roku, first was a Roku 3 which I really like. Bought it as a replacement when YouTube upgraded but my LG Blu-ray player which I was using to stream did not upgrade. Easy to setup and install but found it was very slow to respond to the remote control. Press a button and wait for it to respond. Spend the money on a Roku 2 or 3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased mine a month ago and I this it's a great replacement for cable I couldn't afford anymore. They do however need to look into fixing the remote it always freezes and I have to pop the batteries out the back to get to unfreeze. But I do really like it

Love My Roku

When I bought my new flat screen TV I wanted to have something that I could watch Netflix and other streaming channels. My son suggested getting a Roku. I was not sure which one to buy and I didn't have a lot of room so I got the Roku stick. It is the greatest item I have ever bought. The stick plugs into the back of the TV in the USB port. Don't have anything on the dresser cluttering it up but yet I get channels just like the other Roku's. It is very easy to setup and use.

Bought this over a month ago and love it. Only issue I had was remote not working properly but after talking with customer service I returned the remote where I bought it and got an replacement. Two thumbs up to the great customer service

Must keep restarting

I got this for X-Mas .I have a Roku ready TV but I am so frustraited with my roku stick.The controller wont work except sometimes and i have a hard time conecting to the device (im a foot away from the TV.)Theres times when it tells me theres no internet connection . I have to keep finding codes on my laptop to enter on roku for some channels over and over again.The times ive been able to use have been fun and I enjoyed it .I just dont try to use it much lately because i just get really frustrated.
