Roku Streaming Stick exceeded my expectations!

Been looking forward to purchasing a Roku product. Initially, I wanted the Roku 3, as it was rated being fast in streaming. But, to my amazement this Roku Streaming Stick is fairly fast and does bring in a great video stream. I do not have to add another power cord to the power strip, everything is powered up via USB connection. The size and price is minimal. Purchase this and you will not be sorry!

Works great, sometimes...

After purchasing a Roku 3 a few months back, I purchased the stick to play shows for my kids in their playroom. I got it set up and it worked great for about a week. Since then it has been giving us problems. Long load times , and sometimes does not load apps at all and asks for a new code. The performance varies from day to day. I have reset my wireless network and worked through trouble shooting steps, but even after I get it working well again, it reverts to the slowness and errors after a day or so. My Roku 3 however, loads apps reliably and fast every time. I will be returning the stick and upgrading to the new Roku 2 with the faster processor. I hope this will not have the same issues. So, in conclusion, when it is working as advertised, I love it, and its planty fast; not much difference between the 3. But it has been inconsistent, and I will pay the $20 more for the new Roku 2.

Having difficulties

I've two Roku boxes. Both works great. I like the convenient design of the Roku stick. But the roku stick is slow and drops connection pretty frequently. Not a very happy camper.

horrible remote issues

My husband baught this at Sams club. It was cheap. And when it works it's nice, but the remote is horrible. And we are constantly changing the batteries and it never works.
