Got my recon stick on the Roku website. It has worked great for over a year and a half now and I wouldn't go back to cable!

We love our Roku. We switched because we got tired of paying those high cable bills. We are not home that much and the Roku is perfect.

I bought about a month ago. I love it. Use it mostly for watching Netflix and listening to my favorite tune in radio stations. I also love that I can mirror my phone with it.

Won't connect

We keep trying this on different tvs and it won't stay connected to our wifi- even when placed only a few feet from the router. I like the other rokus we have but have been really disappointed with the streaming stick. I wish I had saved my receipt so I could return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what I need

I received the Roku Streaming Sticking in December 2014 as a door prize at a Christmas party. I loved it so much I purchased two more Streaming Sticks in January. The only issue that I found was that my TV that was mounted on the wall had difficulty plugging in the stick and the remote being able to read it well. With the help of the online help I was able to see & troubleshoot to see how to re-par the remote. I like the size of the remotes and (in comparison to another brand that kind of does the same thing which that remote is so small and my daughter is always losing it.) they may not have tons of buttons but it does what it needs to do.

fun without cable

I love the Roku I have the stick I have 2 one for the living room and one for the bedroom. I do however hate the remote that all come with it needs to be more like a regular remote and not have those buttons right on the bottom that are too easy to get pushed and make you have to start over. Actually there are quite a lot of features they need.

My family has been looking to cut the cord on satellite television and by word of mouth we found the Roku Streaming Stick which is an excellent value and is already saving us a lot of $$ so it has already paid for itself!! We are very satisfied and are actively steering family and friends to cut the cord on cable and satellite television and sharing how wonderful our Roku product is. Thank you for existing!
