for some reason i have to often unplug to restart my roku as it wont load programs despite just getting a router and modem beyond strong enough to cover my house and my remotes drain batteries like crazy and often lose "link" to the roku so i have to once again unplug the roku and reset the remote. im sure these are glitches that they will work out but aside form these 2 inconveniences it was well worth cutting the directv subscription that i was so weary about. would still highly recommend to friends.

Slow to load, remote doesn't work. USB as a power source doesn't work. Really wish I hadn't given away the original. Maybe mine is defective, idk.....

The first one was dead out of the box, the second lasted two months. I am about 2-3 months on the third.

I have a few streamers from various suppliers - Roku has the least proprietary hang-ups.

Good for a child's room

We got set up with Disney Jr. the first day and it was working fine, then it stopped allowing us access to that channel and an error message kept coming up. Same with Watch ESPN

Great Product for the Price

I've had this for about 2 months now and I'm very happy with this item. Everything works great and it was extremely easy to set up. The only issue is that the responsiveness is a little slow when switching between roku channels, but I was aware of this from other reviews when I purchased this item and was willing to accept this for the price. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

The Roku Stick is so easy to use! I can always find something good to watch. I got the cheapest one because I wasn't sure how it would work and I was amazed by how many channels I got!
