I bought it last month and love it. Like my Roku2 but more inexpensive being only a streaming stick. I bought Apple TV for streaming from my apple devices but you have to sign up for the TV part. Roku is hassle free!!!

Tried it out now for two months. Not meeting expectations. Not enough live content, especially news. Many of the apps are not well done.

I love roku streaming. This is the only stick out of the 3 Roku I own. Having said that, I'm not real thrilled with the stick. Seems to be made cheaply. The connection with the power cord is wonky and sometimes disconnects. Requiring me to wiggle it slightly to turn back on. The remote stops working every few seconds. I have to open the back, remove a battery and put it back in to get it to work. I have no issues with any other roku in my home. Just the stick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roku Replaced Defunct Sony Blu Ray Connection

I bought the stick to replace the Sony Blu Ray internet feature on my DV player which had refused to connect to my wireless. Didn't want to get a new player, so I tried the Roku. Installed the stick and powered it on thru my TV. The setup went as directed and I was soon watching my favorites. I am using the remote and my android cell to control it. Great ease of use, better than the built-in feature on my DV player.

Had roku stick for a few months. Good product ,only one complaint needs stronger antenna. My playstation has a stronger antenna. Otherwise great.

Dependable Practical so easy to use!

This simple device is not about technology, it is about communication for me to enjoy a variety of programs and services! Easy for me to navigate and enjoy its benefits I would highly recommend this unit (the USB stick). Lots of channels and after having trouble their tech support chat system was professional courteous and most of all patient to assist me to fully enjoy my product. We now have two ROKU units works great!

We have had our ROKU now for a month, we are so pleased with this, we have told all our friends about it. My husband loves movies, and does not like commercials.
