Remote ruins it

I've owned two streaming sticks, had the same issues with both. The remotes seem to be complete trash, they kill the batteries within an hour of use and on top of that they have a rediculously poor connection and lag which makes typing most anything frustrating as heck. I do like being able to use my phone as a remote but I got the roku streaming stick to be able to take with me easily anywhere I go, so because I have to connect it to different WiFi networks at the multiple places that I use it, I end up having to use that pitiful remote to try to connect it to WiFi before connecting my phone to use as a remote.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Roku I first purchased the Roku 3, which I placed in the family room took only minutes to install and get set up love it so much, purchased the Roku stick for my bedroom. My only regret is not having the voice activated device.

If someone ever says there's nothing to watch their nuts. There is definitely something for everyone from religion to canibus whatever the genre may be the options are endless. easy set up and everybody in the family enjoys. Yeah!

Remote batteries wear out in an instant

We've had this stick for less than 2 months and I've had to change the batteries 3 times already. The remote has a light that constantly flashes and this is what is wearing out the batteries. I have moved it to a bedroom from the main living room where it won't get as much use and I can leave the remote batteries out until I want to use it. I like the plug in ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
