too time consuming to get to where you want to be, then you HAVE TO have at least basic cable to get most of what roku offers. i would not recommend this at all

The stick works well, but ...

The stick works very well, but the remote quickly gave up the ghost. A change of batteries did not help. A look at the web convinced me that this is a common problem so rather than replace it I am using the Roku remote app on my phone. That works fine.

While we love having Roku and all it offers we were extremely disappointed after buying our girls a Roku streamimg stick for their bedroom and the remote for it only works a third of the time!! Should of sent back immediately but as it was Christmas time we never took the time out to do it.

Love it but i wished it didn't have a mind of its own sometimes it keeps scrolling through channels and you have to stop or slow it down. and i wished that their was more free movies and more old TV shows like king of queens and 90210,melrose place i don't like a lot of the new things on TV today...outer than that I love it ,I shut my cable off.so no more cable bill i just pay for my internet...

I have no problems with it. Would like for an easier way to stream from my laptop, but that is my laptop, not the Roku I think.
