love my stick

I have had 2 roku sticks so far. I love the ease of use and channels. My first roku stick would overheat and then would lose the connection. My second one is working better, but i feel like it might do it again because it does get hot. I do lose connection from time to time also and my parents have the roku box and do not have that issue. Still love it and will use it as long as i can.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buggy and very slow

Had a Roku One which works perfectly. Now I wanted to get another for a different room and decided to got with the new stick. Wrong choice!!! The remote control looses the connection all the time so I have to remove the batteries to get it to work again. The stick itself freezes and gets slow constantly. The only way to fix it is to unplug and re-plug. If you want a Roku, don't buy the stick!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very useful for another television

Presently we have a Roku 3 hooked up with our television downstairs. I have
enjoyed watching Netflex and other program possibilities. Main motivation for
purchasing a Roku Stick was to have the opportunity to watch Netflex upstairs. I recently had hip replacement surgery on my right hip and the left is scheduled for August 17th. The Roku Stick I purchased has a remote with it. Makes watching movies quite easy. Would recommend this product to others who seek such a device.

It does its job, just slowly

I bought this about 6 weeks ago, after having previously had 2 Roku 3 devices. In comparision, this device is much slower, and since everything is over Wifi, the connectivity is definitely noticably slower than a Roku 3 device that is hard wired to a lan line.

this is a great product, do not miss the cable bill. but the remote is it's down fall. if they would get an up date for the remote it would be perfect.

Good product. Has some slow moments or moments when the response from the remote is slow or the remote doesn't connect at all. Overall it is good for what we need it for but there are some things that could improve
