Awesome Utility, Horrible Speed

So, I didn't actually buy my Roku; I just won it as a prize at my Senior Prom. It works well, but the remote died (not the BATTERIES, the actual remote controller) within about a week, so then I was forced to use the app on my phone. I have the Streaming Stick, and it is disgustingly slow, and the controls glitch out far too often. It is SO USEFUL, tho. If it had better Wi-Fi, it could handle streaming 1080p video, but it's just a little too weak for that. If you want the best Roku experience, get one of the higher end machines: it will be absolutely worth the money.

Bought it 2 months ago , no issues till now. works fine. But can have more apps/channels on it. Also UI can be improved while searching on different channels.

I had heard a lot about this product so I decided to purchase it. I have bee thrilled with it. I love it because when satellite goes out I can still have the use of my TV. Great product.

Crashes to much

Ive had two roku sticks, and both have been very prone to crash/freeze on me, not my internet or wifi I have a router within 10 feet of the roku stick and stream perfectly with no crashing issues on any other device. Im afraid to buy a higher priced roku for fear of those doing the exact same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
