So far so good! Don't lose the remote!

This is my 2nd Roku stick. I bought this one really only for the remote. My first one was working great and then my remote broke about a week and half into having it. I did all the troubleshooting and still nothing so I tossed it. I just used the remote app instead. Well we changed our internet password and I had to reset the wifi on the Roku. Well in order to do this you have to have the physical remote! You can not just use the app. So I basically had a useless Roku I just bought. I tried to repurchase the remote but it was sold out. So I bought a whole new unit just for the remote. The plus being I now have an extra Roku for the bedroom TV. I love it when it works. I hope this remote doesn't break or get lost because I am not repurchasing another unit....

I bought the streaming stick and I'm so glad I did it's great entertainment for me and the family but what I would suggest that you have all your channels that we stream to be live because some channels ate live and some ate not and also stream more cable channels like Bet and MTV and Tvone and LMN and the ID channel thank you so much and please consider making these updates soon

Love the product but remote decides to quit working and I have to remove the batteries for it to work again.

We bought a couple of these a short while ago. So far we are really enjoying the product, it is a great way to get the most from streaming television.

Simple as it gets, but it needs power !!!!

You must connect this to a power source. It does come with the power cable. If you TV has USB port available then you can just plug power cable into that. If your TV does NOT have a USB port available, then you must run the power cord to a wall outlet. The stick does come with the power adapter (that plugs into wall). but you need an outlet within 5 feet or so to reach up to the stick.
Other than that, you would know if you were connecting to a ROKU 3 box or this device. You do need a strong WIFI signal close.

I bought this to replace the high cost of cable. I have had to purchase 3 of them before finding one that works. Seems like the remote will stop working and then I have to do a manual reset on the system to even get it to pair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great buy at a very reasonable price! I accidently stumbled across this marvelous piece of technology, thanks to the sales clerk that was helping me to find a smart DVD player. I absolutely love my Roku! And, the fact that I can use it on any TV, in whichever room I like, makes it an even better investment!
