Great for TVs that are not Internet ready!

Even my smart TV doesn't give me access to some of the services Roku offers. Plus I was offered free trials of Netflix and Hulu Plus.

Power Stick

I bought this Roku Stick to use on the upstairs TV . I like it very much it is a little slower that the Roku 3 on the main TV but still is passable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buying the Stick has been the BEST thing I done in years. No matter how often I change channels it (the Stick) keeps working error free, unlike my windows 8.1.....

what a waste of money

I recently purchased the roku streaming stick after a friend's recommendation. It worked for 2 weeks and now 95% of the time it does not work. No matter how many times it is reset it freezes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Remote loses charge easily

The remote and charging stck do not communicate well together. I have the Roku box and have no problems. The remote is very sensitive and after a few uses it would not sync with the stick. I tried everything and called customer service and was told I could not have a refund. This is a terrible device. Do not purchase.

My husband and I had cable and were dissatisfied with having to buy channels we didn't want just to get a few channels we did. I researched Roku and decided that it would be perfect. We are not disappointed. We're going to get a second one for our other tv.

Rocky start

We expected ROKU to be full of free tv shows and movies, but most of the good ones are paid and all of them are a hassle to get installed. Also, after starting a Netflix subscription, Netflix stopped working for a few days, nothing on the Roku or Netflix websites got it working, and I ended up calling Netflix helpline, waiting 15 minutes, and then getting the Netflix reset so it would start back up.
I would recommend this to a friend!
