good but a pain

I like the product but registering all the channels sucks specially if your only computer is a desk top and the tv is in another ...took me about 30 mins to register and the pass words/keys timed out going from room to room

Streaming Stick Limitations

I have a Roku3 on one of my tv's and wanted a streaming stick for my living room tv where I didn't want a bunch of components and wires. While the Roku Streaming Stick offers great access to channels, it is extremely limited in its installation. It will not receive enough power from the tv itself and must be plugged into an electrical outlet to function. The power cord is extremely short, requiring an extension cord for my tv's location (which is only 5 feet from the outlet). And, depending on the location of your tv's usb port, it may not be able to be plugged in while connected to its power cord at all (as was the case with the other tv I tried to use it on, wall-mounted with usb ports on the back). I have it installed in my living room now, and it functions well. But it is not any less clutter or mess of wires than the regular streaming players. Roku really needs to do better if they want a truly wireless, streamlined design.

I have problems with the remote. It stops working. I have to remove battery and put back in for it to work. This is the second Roku product I,be owned. The first one stopped working completely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my Roku for one month. It works well in the same room with my wireless modem. It does not work well outside that room.

Haven't had cable in 6 years!

We're going almost 6 years now without paying for cable yet we never run out of things to watch using Roku! We have one for each room. Love the convenience, and especially love the money we've saved!!!

I am not quite enjoying my roku stick. For starters , I assumed that the roku stick I bought was wireless, it was not , I have to have it plugged up all the time which is an eyesore considering the way I have my TV set up. Secondly, it lags a lot , and I mean a lot , often times shutting down and me having to restart it all the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
