I bought this item so I could watch the JW.broadcast. It works great, we use it to watch Netflix also.

I brought the Roku and like the features but the remote stopped working within a month and half then went out

Get rid of cable

I have the roku stick for about 2 months and purchased one for every bedroom. They are amazing. I no longer have a cable bill. They have saved me over $150 a month. Thanks Roku..

Works well but could be better.

It does what it's supposed to do but there are some glitches. It takes a long time to start Netflix, and stops periodically to buffer. It likes to get stuck at 25% for some reason. The supplied remote control is temperamental. Sometimes there is no response at all from the ROKU, other times it responds but is seriously delayed. I use a ROKU remote app on my Kindle instead, it's 100% and responds more quickly. The cross platform search seemed like a great idea, searching all sources of the searched video at one time. Problem is, the list of places it searches is small and doesn't include obvious places, like Youtube, History, HGTV, A&E etc.
