The first one of these I purchased worked fine for 6 months and then just quit working. Tried to return it to the brick and mortar where I purchased it from but it was out of warranty.
We are on DSL and initially bought one of these to replace a Roku box that was causing us problems. This instantly solved the problem with buffering and we can now watch Amazon Prime movies without any problems. We have since purchased two more and all work flawlessly on our other TV's. Setup is a piece of cake if you just follow the on-screen instructions. My wife and I highly recommend the Roku Streaming Stick.
Their example review seemed a little self serving. I'm not going to tell you that i'm overjoyed with ROKU I think the fact that I have purchased 5 of them speaks for itself. They are easy to set up, easy to navigate, I have cable and the Roku app for it works better than the cable box . Download the Roku app to your phone and when you lose your remote you got one on your phone that looks just like it. Yes I have tried some of the other streaming devices and they kind of steer you toward what they want you to choose. Yes I like Roku.
