I have only used the item twice, had to unplug for a day, now it does not work. Plus on the unit I bought you have to scan the whole guide to find a channel, no way to save your favorites. Someone told me there was a favorites, but not on mine!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product

This was easy to setup. I had Chromecast and had difficult time with the product. Bought Roku and would never go back. Very easy to find shows I want to watch.

Lots of apps

Brought the roku stick in December works pretty good though sometimes it restarts itself hopefully an update fixes it and fixes the feature to play stuff from my phone other than that I like it a lot already told a lot of people about it

its ok but not much different than cable, cant find nothing I really like without having to purchase a subscription not what I thought...................

Not happy with it at all it keeps telling me about my network connection has problems bought a amazon fire stick and it works well

Enjoying the freedom of ROKU

Purchased ROKU about two months ago and once I learned how to install it, have never looked back. Really enjoy being free of a cable subscription. I subscribe to channels I want to watch (NETFLIX, ACORN, etc). The only thing I do not understand is why every once in a while the system asks if I am still watching the channel and if I do not click the remote quickly, the system resets back to initial screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!
